SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR
West Erie County Emergency Management Agency is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator that will oversee (13) municipalities. This is a CONTRACT POSITION which does not include benefits. Successful applicant must provide their own workman’s comp and liability insurance.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, valid PA driver’s license with reliable transportation, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to pass a background check, knowledge of public safety services and ability to effectively manage the Emergency Operations Center during disaster events. Must be professionally competent and capable of planning and coordinating among multiple agencies.
Preference given to applicants who possess PEMA Local Basic Certification.
